Christensen Mesa 6.5 Creedmore Range Report:

Sorry, uploaded photo from my phone and can't rotate.

I used the Christensen break in recommendation and had good results.

The first shot on this target was top of bullseye at 100 yards from a cold barrel.

The second shot was way right and the fault of the shooter. I forgot my rear sandbag and was using an old blanket I keep under the back seat.

Shots 3,4, and 5 are the the three shots touching. Easily covered by a dime.

The second shot is what I am capable of. The group is what the Mesa is capable of. Very satisfied with its debut at the range. A few more trips and I'll have it dialed in. Ran out of daylight today.

Looks like some serious potential there. What’s your take on the gun so far?

Hornady Precision 143g. The Mesa handles well and comfortable to shoot. The rounds feed smoothly and it has a 700 type action so the controls are just like the Rem I grew up using. Wasn't expecting much recoil with the 6.5 and muzzle brake and didn't get any. Very light. Im a fan so far. Time at the range and more in the field will tell.
