Well, this was just a part of the great success I had during 2016. Definitely am fortunate to have been in the right place at the right time. I hunted this double drop tine buck over 2 seasons. I saw him on the last day of hunting season in 2015, 15 minutes after I had just punched my last antlered WT tag. He humiliated me for the next 30 minutes under the feeder eating every last morsel of corn, knowing full well I couldn't touch him at all. Lost sight of him from January until early November 2016, Eventually he slipped up and presented me a shot. That pretty much ruined hunting for me in 2017 and I am totally okay with that.
The bobcat, well, he just couldn't resist the screams of a wounded woodpecker. By the time I turned on the caller and walked back to the stand 100 yds away, he was already standing over the top of the caller wondering what in the world was going on. I am super impressed at how the bobcat mount turned out. Really an excellent job in my opinion.
