Just 6 months away!

Also who has not put up all their duck hunting gear ? My waders are cleaned and in their boxes. Boat is cleaned and gas tank/lines are drained. Decoys washed off, blind bags are cleaned out etc. In the process of ordering my new duck boat for this year. Time to work like a dog so when Sept. gets here I can hunt my arse off thru Jan !

Got mud rig converted to crappie rig. My hunting gear stays in same spot as hunting season, I just move the neoprene waders inside the house out of the garage and summer heat.

No, going to need a lot more rain. It might have a little in the bottom but it was so dry here that most of it got sucked up.

The ground is absolutely soaked here, if we get more it'll all run off for sure, that'll put some water in the ponds. Ice is mostly melted now. This rain and ice and how we got it is just what we needed, as soon as it warms up things will get to growing good. Good thing too because I am getting low on hay for the cows.
