Hi - I have a Ruger M77 in .243 Win. This has the full length "Mannlicher" or "International" stock (some people refer to it one way, some the other).

This rifle is very clean, and is a tight shooter. It has been hunted with and has some honest wear, but not abuse. I've tried to document everything possible in pictures. The bore is clean and shiny. The fore end of the stock (where a right handed shooter's palm would be), the finish is worn from handling. There is similar finish wear on the left side of the stock, at the receiver location, and some some scratches on the stock under the "RUGER" roll mark on the left side of the receiver. There is finish wear in the bluing on the left side of the front site. On the left side of the stock there are a few scratches, and there is finish wear on the fore end of the stock on the right side, whether the left hand fingers would be holding the stock (assuming a right handed shooter). There is finish wear on the trigger guard. There are some other areas of finish wear in the bluing. I've tried to show all in the pictures. The muzzle is clean and smooth.

The above description may make this sound like an abused or ugly rifle. It is not; I'm just trying to describe it as accurately as possible. I am not the original owner, but I've had the rifle for the last 8-9 years, and have had zero problems with it. It is a "soft shooter" as would be expected from a .243 Win in a full length, Mannlicher stock. The rifle has the tang safety, not a cross bolt.

By the serial number (78-400XX) and the Ruger site, I believe this rifle was manufactured in 1984 (final year of the original M77 series of rifles).

Please message or email for pics. I have several on my cell phone, and and can take more, but I do not know how to upload here.

I am asking $400. I am in Collin County and prefer to meet somewhere close, rather than to ship.

Please pm any questions.

EDIT: A gentleman asked about the Ruger scope bases / rings and rear sight. There is no rear sight installed, but the barrel does have the two holes where the rear sight goes. It must have been removed at some time and the holes not plugged (?).

I did locate and have now installed the Ruger scope bases / rings.

For anyone to whom I have sent pictures, text me if again if you are interested in a picture of this area also.

If I have not responded to someone, please let me know. I'm trying to be as open and transparent to everyone. If there is a question or pic request, I'm pleased to provide.

This rifle is SPF. If for some reason that does not go through, I will update here. I appreciate everyone's interest.
