Cattle guard that width will run from $850 (used) and up for just the price of the cattle guard depending on what it is built out of and how it is constructed(boxed in or just plain cattle guard). I have done concrete ones that took a lot of dirt work to build the road up. I priced an electric gate and it ended up cheaper than a cattle guard, installing it and then build the road up.

My cousin owns a welding shop and builds cattle guards. He sells them to use in the oilfield, very heavy duty and high quality. I've bought several 16 footers for $1600. Installed them myself.

Do some counties sell them to residents of the county? Seems I have heard they do.

I asked my county commissioner and they would not sell any. But, I did have them build and install 2 for me on a county road easement at no cost. Only took about 16 months to finish.
