No shortage of action there. Nice shooting. Isn't that the worst when you look away for a second and then your downed hog is now gone!

No shortage of action there. Nice shooting. Isn't that the worst when you look away for a second and then your downed hog is now gone! It has happened before and I didn't like it then, and so I didn't see any of the tell-tale signs that it might be about ready to get up. The pig is out in the open field. The wheat is only at sprout level. Clear view. The other guys watched their pig and I watched my pig and we were all quite confident that our pigs were down and out. They did the curly shuffle and then had stilled and been still with no sign of restarting. Time to get to work...and then it was gone, LOL.

And here is Saturday night. I got in a two good shots at 294 yards. I was a tad off on my lead with the first shot, but had good elevation and made the 2nd shot, no problem.
