RR is right. I can’t believe I didn’t think of that. It’s so obvious. Without time travel, nothing changes history.

You don't think the 2 atom bombs we dropped on Japan changed history? How much longer would they have fought if we hadn't dropped them?

History is not changed, it is made. You get one chance, no do-overs to achieve a different outcome. Think about it. What "history" was ever changed?

It didn’t change history. History happened the way it did. To change it, you’d have to go back in time.

In other words, there is not nor has there ever been a history after August 1945 where Nagasaki and Hiroshima were not destroyed with atomic bombs.
