LoL OK so my coworker and I had this same conversation over lunch one day. He fancies himself a shooter but he is not a hunter. Told him I could "hunt" him and he would never see it coming. We talked about tagging with a paint ball below the shoulders but still haven't put the ROE together. Probably never pull this off. Would be a lot of fun but could end up in a SWAT standoff if somebody saw this. That would be totally irresponsible.

A little bit of work on line and I had his home address, where his wife works and pics of his neighborhood. He was a bit surprised. Hey man just like reading a topo map and checking game cams. In two weeks I could have him patterned. Could prolly take him down with a wrist rocket!

I can understand that. There’s something about a big mulie that’s hard to beat. I chased one and never could close the deal. I still think about that deer.

This is my inspiration to finally figure out how to post pictures on this forum. If this doesn’t deserve a Bert stare, I don’t know what does.

I hope a few axis deer show up one of these days. I've heard of a few around us.

And maybe this guy, or one like him (they call 'em "scrum cap" bulls. Rugby term):

And of course...a big, honkin' bull elephant. banana

I have not hunted easterns in a few years but I have a place (public) I could go every year and get into them. Shot several over the years. Long walk in and I never saw anybody back in there either. Did see a "hunter" 1/4 from our trucks one time though. Dam those beards on them old gobblers were true paint brushes also!

Some would consider him a "cull" or sub-par. Others, like me, consider an ancient old warrior like that a true trophy. Either way, a bull is a bull and there ain't no $ discount.

North America: Mountain Goat, musk ox, desert bighorn, Rocky Mountain bighorn, caribou, blacktail deer, Kodak Brown Bear, Dall sheep, Fannin sheep,

Exotic: Hippo, Croc, addax, Sable, Bushpig, Ibex, Elephant, leopard, giant red stag (NZ), eland (TX),

I think the only way I would ever get all these would involve a power ball and 5 matching numbers.

I’m always looking for a good mule deer hunt.

In the near future I want to hunt a mountain goat, snow sheep in Russia and a Tur.

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Realistically, I'd like to do black bear, pronghorn, and mule deer in the next 5 years. I plan on Cape buffalo, nyala, and bushbuck on the next trip across the pond.

In the US I'd like an Elk Mule deer combo and I'd like to go to Africa and hunt Sable and Kudu.
