I have a glock 43. I have taken the big pieces apart a few times already, remove magazine, the slide, the barrel, and the action spring. That all seems pretty straight forward. What if anything needs to be disassembled and/or cleaned down in the area under the slide?

Thanks.

That's basically it with a Glock for routine maintenance. You're good to go.

Just the slide rails.

Glocks are kind of like the AKs of the pistol world. They are very tough pistols and just keep on shooting as long as you don't limp wrist it. grin

Your Glock manual should cover it. Just 4 drops of oil. One on barrel, one on each slide rail and one on trigger/connector. Never put any in firing pin channel.

Pull the firing pin once or twice a year to clean and oil it.

Shouldn't oil a Glock firing pin at all. It moves inside a nylon firing pin channel liner and needs no lubrication.
