I like a 5x8! It's big enough for two captain chairs with high backs. If I build to have another one built I will have it built to these measurements.

We currently have several 4x6, but I'm kicking around the idea of building a 6x6. We usually put the back of the stand to a brush line or back facing the fence, so we only build Windows on the front and sides. 6 ft wide works well for 2 people, but I think the extra depth would be good.

You might want to think about 5'X6'. You would have room to stretch out and still hunt two hunters.

I have a new one thats 6x8 - i would never buy or build one less than 5x8.
the 5' side is now the new normal -the extra room makes it Oh so worth it. I would do a 5x6 or 5x7 but the wood and waste for 5x8 makes it not sorth it.

I hunt regularly in a 4x6 with 2 people and never felt cramped or uncomfortable even with 2 office chairs but 5x7 would be nice as well. Built one this past yr. for me and the Mrs. I am 6'2", yeah cramped and have to place my chair length ways. 6x6 would be my choice

I don't like 4' wide blinds either. 6x6 or 6x8 would be my go to size especially if building multiple to sell. I think you can design a 6x6 to meet just about any hunting need, and the 6x8 is great for two person hunting. Only downfall is the weight if someone is planning to elevate it in my opinion.

The 4’ is what makes it seem small unless you hunt the skinny ends primarily
