New property with hog problem. We shot a bunch of hogs, each of us testing some new ammo. While some hogs were shot more than once, I don't believe any hogs got away injured. Wind and amount of ambient lighting (no moon and very bright moon) were critical factors in our approaches. We managed 6 sows down from the sounder and a short time later spied a lone boar out in the field and went after him.

Great job fellas! I’m curious as to what shooting stick(s) or tripods you use to shoot from during your hunts? Keep up the good work!

Nice. Can't believe how many rounds that sow took before going down. Must have all been passing through the same hole. grin

Nice job DNS and good ammo test. I still like the SSTs but we are using speer 130sp from the blackout and they seem to be doing a good job also. Haven't tried the fusion but then again i am only shooting handloads.

I have both...and a Reaper Rest. I modified the Caldwell Deadshot Fieldpod by extending the legs to make it tall enough. I used 1/2" PVC. My favorite of the three. Much more stable than the others. All but eliminates what I call the tripod "wobble".
