Went Hog hunting last Thursday at one of my favorite spots. Used Trail XP38 on a DDM4V7. Load used is 25.5 gr H335 loaded in Lapua Brass pushing a Sieria 65 Gr Gameking.

Brian it's not a feeder. It's a power pole leaching creosote. The hogs love to rub up against it. They have wallowed out a 3 foot deep hole all around it's circumference. Pole is about 60 yards away. There are three power poles on the property that they visit often. Sometimes the hole fills with water and they love to take a bath in it. I have had as many as 30 hogs fighting over use of the pole. My thermal just turns to a sea of white hot. Cannot discern one pig from another they are so tightly packed together. Maybe time for some tannerite.

Txduckman, you bring up a good point. Not sure how deep the power company placed those poles into the ground. All hell would break loose if those damn hogs burrow down so far that the pole falls over, hammer I guess you would start to see it lean over a bit with time though if it's integrity started to falter.
