I got a sandhill crane tag 15 years in a row in Colorado and never did shoot one or shoot at one. That was pretty cool. Do you eat those things?

Yeah we cooked some after the first day and it was amazing. I’ve heard them called “The ribeye of the sky” and that’s no lie. The only downside is that you can only kill 3 per day and can’t have more than 9 in your possession cause we could have killed a lot more.
