Hey y'all, anyone have a beavertail final attack or other model sneak boat? Looking for something sorta small that I can paddle or slap a small motor on. I've got a lot of big public lakes around me(I live in North DFW), but a big boat is sort of out of the question for me, so was looking for an inexpensive boat that I could maybe get back into some smaller places with. Also open to suggestions! Only been duck hunting twice, both times on a pond, but going to try and get into some free lance stuff next year as well so starting to look around.

I picked up a beavertail sneak boat 2000 on craigslist a few years ago. I do not have a motor on it but there are kits to put a trolling motor on or a small mud motor. It is really stable. I am a fairly big dude and me and my dad have no problem hunting out of it with a dog also. We also stand up and shoot when we use it or we use it to get back to the areas boats can't get to then hide it and hunt from the land. Not a whole lot of room to carry lots of decoys when 2 people and a dog are in it but still room for a dozen or 2. If we want more decoys we just drag a sled behind the boat with more in it while we paddle. It is a little heavy to deal with if only you go hunting with it but it is no problem with 2 people. I don't use it much anymore since I have a private lease now but we used to murder the ducks using it to get to places other boats could not.

If the trigger is gold, the birds will fold.

Got introduced to Countylineboats. It looks like a solid rig with a longtail on it.

Best bang for the buck, I would go john boat with 7hp longtail, like a stumpjumper.
