Really like the feel of it in my hand, looking at it for EDC. Looking for some real world opinions and experience.

I have the Carry model. Love it. Good trigger, great feel, as accurate as I can shoot a pistol, and never had a hiccup. I’ve only got maybe 1000-1200 rounds through it. Conceals very easy in a pancake holster on my side

Lot of guys running them in USPSA. I have very minimal experience with the full size, but it handled well and had a great trigger for a plastic gun. I would expect the same from a compact.
If you like it, go for it. There’s very little difference in striker fired pistols.

Got a P320 compact 9mm shot about 700 round so far carried a glock for about 30 years before but shot the sig better. I liked as soon is I pick it up felt right. Going to get a 40 S&W Kit and 357 Kit. Thinking also about 45 I carried one a lot of years. I also got the P320 Subcompact shoot about 100 rounds thur it has small frame do not get is good a hold as with the medium has soon is grips are back in stock will get medium grip for it. While at the gun shop the Sig rep wed said the frames and kit would be out in 30 to 60 days along with there new p365 smaller then glock 43 hold 10,12 or 13 rounds.

I have the compact and my oldest son has the carry, both in 9mm. I love mine and so does the wife. Only have put maybe 100 rnds thru it yet, but shoots as good as my P220 45.
I was looking for one for the wife and really struggled over the 45, vs the 9mm, but after all the testing done by the FBI and a military, with the 9 and correct ammo equaling a .40, I figured the extra rnd count and cheaper bulk ammo would make the grade.
Agree with Wade, Hornady critical defense rounds and the 9 will get it done

Agree with Wade, Hornady critical defense rounds and the 9 will get it done I’ve always been a 45 guy, but with the advancements they’ve made with ammo in the last few years, I feel like the 9mm is just as relevant for self defense. I also agree with you on round count. I’m choosing the 9 for the extra capacity, and for faster follow ups. Good info, thanks everyone. Seems like it’ll be a solid choice. Hopefully I can find a range close that has one I can put a few rounds through before the purchase is made.

My duty weapon is a .45, in my mind, if I was (or the wife) to get into a firefight in the house, I want just one caliber so there are no mistakes (like in the dark) That was my biggest deal, but as you said, now that technology in ammo, 30 rounds of Hornady CD should take care of the 1st wave. Found the best deals online when I bought mine, I bought my sons through tombstone tactical in Phoenix for $570 (missed the sale for 539), bought mine from tss warehouse.

Another nice thing is they are "modular". Another sweet side arm, but lower round count is the Walther PPS LE edition pmm, smaller frame, excellent Walther quality, so I bought her that one as well (on sale iirc for $319). One of these days I am going to post a thread asking you gals that CC on carry ideas, holsters you like and carry methods you find best, just some ideas the Mrs can look thru.

My wife carries one, I typically carry a glock 19 but have used hers in a two day pistol course when she first got it just to see how it ran, no problems at all and it is an accurate shooter. I carried it AIWB as I do my 19 and it concealed very nicely. Carry model.

I can't find a P365, but that hasn't stopped me from looking.
I currently carry either a P938 that I've had for several years or the P320 Compact.
I will say that I really like the P320C. I carry it IWB at about 3:30 in a Fierce Defender Paladin. With 16 rounds, you are going to want a good gun belt.
The first range trip, I put well over 500 rounds of 124gr reloads. It dirtied up quite nicely and I didn't have a single malfunction. I cleaned it up well, which is super easy with the removable trigger group. The second range trip I put about 100 rounds of 147gr JHP factory loads. I had a variety of ammo on hand and it ran them all. I finished that trip with a couple hundred of the above mentioned reloads. Since those two trips, I've probably put another 400 rounds. Most reloads, but a few magazines of 147gr defense ammo just to feel confident.
The only thing I don't like about the P320C is that I only have one. I plan to get a second one in the near future.
For disclosure, I have not sent mine back for the voluntary upgrade. I'm not sure if I will or not.
