I took in a gun in trade recently that has a purpose built stock that, as a hunter, I have ZERO familiarity with.

In the coming days Iíll post the gun for sale in the classifieds but I would like to shoot it first to make sure function is good to go.

So the stock has embossed on its side - The Ultimate Sniper by Maj. Plaster.

I found these videos today and I can only assume that this gentleman is the mind behind the book / video that supported the development of the stock for commercial sale.

Not sure that the stock makes a significant difference in shooterís realized performance , Id be interested in hearing from the collective here on the stock and methods described in the video.

By the way the stock is fitted to a 26Ē Savage Model 12 in 308 Win...

Thatís a choate ultimate sniper stock. Honestly, itís an overweight, functional stock. I had one on a rifle. It works, but there are a lot better options out there for stocks. It has a lot of features, like built in monopod, full length aluminum bedding block, adjustable placement of sling swivels for bipod mounting, etc. but it weighs a ton.
