Heads Up ya'll...just got a blast on this ...SAKO 85 7-08 Bavarian's are on closeout at EuroOptic at $900 off List... Nice shooter right there folks...

Whittakers's blast today was Free Shipping on everything.

As soft as the new long gun bidnizz is, it'll be veeery interesting to see who discounts what & by how much to lighten the Inventory Overhead ...trust me the Tote the Note monthly % is a killer for a Distributor or Mfg'er BTDThis before.

Couldn't resist. They have less than a dozen, so if you are interested you probably should go for it sooner rather than later.

Hogback stocks like the Bavarian has really increase felt recoil to my shoulder. If I were to purchase one I’d have to buy a new stock too.

What scope would be recommended for this rifle in 7mm-08? I know I will want some sort of BDC, a hunting reticle with only crosshairs would not work.

Why would a duplex reticle not work? I’d much rather have a duplex reticle than a bdc that is set as some arbitrary distances.

If you are not going to shoot long range a duplex is better than a BDC reticle.
If you are going to shoot long range there are lots better choices than a BDC reticle.

I agree, any shot to 300 yards, a far punch, can be made without a BDC. If you do want a BDC, as they are cool, the duplex will work perfect, with a BDC turret, you don't want allot of "clutter" in your sight picture.

What would be better than a BDC reticle? I want this rifle for game at distances of 300 to 600 yards.
