can someone explain on the good/bad & why of these scopes.

Off hand all I can think of is size.

I have a couple of Leupold prism sights. What I like about them is that the reticle is etched on the glass, so it won't break. Also, it's illuminated, which is handy and the optic does not become useless when the battery dies (not so with some optics, such as reflex sights). Plus they are light and compact, and very fast.
