I had a rare visitor to my refuge today so I took a few shots of this Oldsquaw with my Canon instead of my Benelli. It was a thrill to see it even though it's not yet in breeding plumage.

A Long-tailed Duck, rare for my region, rode the recent arctic winds south to my private honey hole.
