Thoughts on this rifle? Dad is looking at buying one in 6.5 Creedmoor.

Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

I got one in 6.5 last Friday. Finally got around to getting to the range yesterday. I am super impressed.

Buddy got one and he is very pleased with it. IMO there is a lot of value there for the guy that wants a turn key operation.

Never seen one in person, but they are getting fantastic reviews. It's a direct competitor to the Tikka CTR and holds its own from what I've heard, which is absolutely saying something.
QSYB is right that it's not a lightweight rifle though.

They weigh about a pound and a half more than a CTR. that made the decision for me. I’ve heard they are fairly accurate (right at MOA) out of the box but need handloads for the best performance. My CTR has twice done 5 shot 1/4” groups with factory ammo. I’ve also heard they have problems with stringing after just a few shots as they heat up. The stock is incredible on a factory rifle, inexpensive Mag options, great trigger. 22” barrel, IMO should have gone 20 and heavier, or 24 so you can wring the most out of it. I think BassPro had a special edition that had a 24” option.
For the money it’s a great deal. Check it out.
