My Hunters said we are over run with Coyotes. I prefer that they be trapped so as not to educate them if missed during calling. The ranch is just under 300 acres.

Why don't you let your hunters hunt said Yotes?
They make ammo specifically for hunting for a reason!

They are not interested or have the time to eradicate the coyotes on the ranch. I would prefer someone that would run a trap line versus calling, the ranch is not real big and might only get a few call sets in. The coyotes I feel a working over the fawn population pretty bad also. The ranch is low fence so snares won't work need a good many foot traps.

Low fence so snares won’t work? Snares are placed in “scrapes” under the fence. Hanging a snare in a hole in the fence is where you run into problems catching deer, sheep, and goats.

I'm very familiar with setting snares, a coyote has the entire fence line on a LF place to decide where he or she chooses to cross, a HF on the other hand limits the crossings to already used holes under the fence a majority of the time.

I’m guessing you mean barbed wire vs goat fence. Not hf vs lf.
