What started out to be a bow hunt for deer turned into a turkey harvest at 425pm this evening. Could not let a wide open 26 yard shot go to waste. Flopped around 3 seconds then quiet. Was a hen that weighed about 14# live. I plucked it because my wife wants it deep fried. Going to inject it to add some moisture. Have had ones deep fried without the skin and, lets just say- I would have rather eaten my hiking boots.

CHILDREN ARE OUR FUTURE FOR TOMORROW. INVEST IN TOMORROW BY TAKING A CHILD HUNTING OR FISHING TODAY.
