With the general season now over, stores are sure to be putting hunting-related food attractants, seed mixes, and other products on clearance. The question is, will they still be good and last until next season?

They won’t be any less effective than when they were made.

So you mean those Buck Bombs don't grow sweeter with time?

Im super cheap so when I can buy seeds at 70-80% off I stock up. I read a small % of older seeds will not grow but I have never noticed.

You may have to use more seed to get decent germination, but it will be fine.

I had a bag of Buck Forage Oats left over from last year and when I opened the bag they were moldy. I went ahead and planted them with oats and wheat but I doubt if they germinated. They were just stored in the barn and I had forgotten I even had them.

Store them in a moderate temp/low humidity spot, and they should germinate at least 60-70%, if not better. It's nice getting good deals!
