I’ve ordered a Wild West replacement trigger for my 45 Colt 1894. These are said to remove the trigger flop and bring the trigger pull down to a crisp 2-3 pounds with additional polishing. Anyone have any experience with these. I’m kinda excited about the prospect. Also adding a Lyman 66la rear aperture sight like I do to all my marlins. Trying to find a cross bolt safety replacement but everyone is sold out unless I want stainless or a saddle ring. Any leads on these? Will be loading 300gr CPB LFNGC over H110. Anyone played with the 1894 in 45 colt, all the loading info I can find on this rifle is conflicting. I know I can’t load it to the pressures of the my Rossi 92 or super Redhawk. I also know it will not cycle the 360s or 395s I run in the others.

Have you tried the Leverguns forum or MarlinOwners?

The secret to a long life is to try not to shorten it.

I browsed the campfire but figured I’d start here. Marlin owners sound like the place to be.

Another resource would be to contact Ranger Point Precision, they are located in Cypress,TX

Friendly folks, so am sure they would answer any other questions you have about the Marlin. Might have a lead on the safety delete.
