The difference is negligible.

I'm 6' 2" 240 pounds - normally ~235. Not fat, yet what would mean more to me would be to lose a few pounds... that would be noteworthy relative to a couple inches on a magazine and 22 additional rounds in it.

Separately, I can't believe this thread is still going.

Even the "sanctuary" of the Open Hunting Discussion occassionally gets OT drama.

No kidding. Being critical of other hunters (no matter how the criticism is phrased) will certainly make a thread go wheels off.

In other news,

Today I heard Donald trump is afraid of sharks

We are over here bickering about simple things like AR’s and magazine capacity when our commander in chief is
Unable to lead us in the fight against militant sea life

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Has the use of 20rd mags been brought up yet? Do we need a separate thread for bellyaching about every size mag?

I hear ya maximus the crying and moaning is unbelievable on some of these threads and its always the same peeps crying over and over about the same stuff usually. My gun is bigger than yours blah blah blah!!!

Can we get back to the real thread. Opinions on whether it is better to carry a 30 round mag or 5 round mag when hunting with an AR.

My opinion is that everyone should carry a 10 round mag with 8 rounds because that is how I do it.

Everybody is else wrong and doesnt know shiite muslim if they dont do it my way.

Lets see if this gets some responses LOL

GO TRUMP!

I had a buddy way back who hunted with a colt AR 15 pre ban

We always laughed but he always killed deer. In the end what does it really matter?

If anything he was handicapped because of the open sights
