Has anyone used the Federal Premium Vital-Shok Trophy Bonded Tip ammo for whitetail or hogs? If so, how did they do and would you recommend them? Thank you.
If found, please return to stand or boat.

I have not used them but I have some for my 338 Federal. I can't imagine how the bullet could fail the way it's engineered. You have a solid copper shank bonded to lead core front. It's skived to open (like the Fusion) but also has a plastic tip to initiate expansion.
I would have zero concerns if it was me.

Never shot them. It reminds me very much of a trophy bonded bear claw. Back in the day I remember reading they were not very accurate, but never shot them. I know they were very/crazy expensive for the reloader to purchase. But again no first hand experience with them. I would suspect they would do well on game.
It's hell eatin em live
