I have several. I love all of mine. Some are accurate, but most are not. Its the action that I love!

Horribly overpriced for what it is. If you want one just because of the action, then so be it. If you're looking purely at a performance to cost ratio, it's an awful value. Bad trigger, poor accuracy, quite expensive. A DPMS AR-15 that costs half as much will hold more rounds, weigh less, have a better trigger, and be more accurate.
I owned one several years ago and never could warm up to it. Fortunately I bought it used and didn't lose much when I sold it.

Love mine. It's the ONE gun I always wanted growing up. My dad had bolt actions, shotguns, 22s and wheel guns when I was coming up. Always wanted a 184 series factory folder and finally picked on up about 3 years ago. Shoots minute of critter at 100 yards and that's all I expected. Can put all 30 in a beer can at 50 yards. If it wasn't a sought after gun, it would be my ranch gun.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

It was the favorite rifle of the A team TV series. A good 80's gun that is now outdated.

Never cared for the lack of accuracy so many of them suffered from. If I want that kind of accuracy and save some money, I'd buy a cheap AR and then run over the barrel. A few of them are good, the rest give the gun a bad rep.
It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.

The barrel harmonics need to be balanced by adding some weight to the end of the barrel. That can be done by adding a large muzzle break or a suppressor.
Mine was not very accurate until I added a JP Compensator Muzzle Brake. And later a suppressor.

Better lucky than good. The one I have now shoots really close to an in with most brands of ammo and a little under with some. They are heavier than ARs and more expensive. Not so a few years ago when I bought mine ARs were high. And yes, I worked on the trigger.

My NRA mini is a great shooter and very accurate. I heard it's because of the shorter barrel but not sure if that reason flies. Sounds like a crap shoot on whether or not they are decent shooters.

The 181 series is more accurate than they ought be. If I was looking for one now that's what I'd be after, unless you want to scope it.

I have one in 6.8 SPC. Looks great and shoots great out to 50 yards. I only use it occasionally on when I hunt my heavily wooded 40 acres in East Texas. I've only killed a bobcat with it.

Found a sherrifs model a few years back and it had better than average accuracy. If you can find one of those it's a good buy.
