Like I said, I donít have a 22 Mag and iím Thinking about getting one. Donít really want to spend a lot of money, but I also donít want a trashy rifle and I want accuracy. The Ruger American rim fire looks interesting. Surely some of yaíll have one, so please give me your impressions. And suggest other options. Thanks.

I have a Marlin 983T, its accuracy is fair so beware.

I have a Marlin 783 22 mag, tube feed. I am very pleased with its performance and accuracy to 100 yards with all brands of ammo, likes CCI 40 gr the best.

I doubt you would be disappointed in the Ruger.

Only Ruger I own is the 22/45 .22lr, I would buy another.

I have the Ruger American Predator (model 8335). Had it about a year now and have put everything from 30 grain vmax to 45 grain gold dots thru it without an issue. Accurate as i need it to be out to 100yds haven't tried pushing it past that.

I have a Ruger American in Predator trim too, and I have been quite happy with its performance as well.

KelTec makes both a rifle and a pistol. I own two of the pistols and the one I shoot is really great. It's my go-to hand gun. The rifles are based on the PMR 30's, and while I don't have one, I've shot a couple of them and the guys that owned them said they would not get rid of them for any price!
