if you can get a 6.8SPC chambering in a AR15 why could you not get a 22CM?

overall length is way too long for an AR15, 2.26" is about max. 22 CM is about 2.85"

AR15 and 6.8 SPC, maximum case length is about 2.26" .22 CM is 2.825" OAL and won't fit in the magazine of the AR15, needs to be used in a AR10 sized gun.
