Hello... I am looking for a deer processor in or around Bridgeport or Decatur... the one closest to the ranch I’m hunting is closed this weekend... it’s the Gun shop/deer processor bout 5 miles south of Bridgeport off hwy 380... anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

That's the one I'm aware of. Isn't there one in Runaway Bay, know there's one in Jacksboro.

Drive up to Muenster and use Hess Meats or Fischer's.

A couple in Decatur, Old Plantation in Springtown, or drive to Muenster, cinnamon creek isn't far either

I suggest this, Hess does a great job. As for the one between Bridgeport and Runaway Bay, I cant recommend them.

Years ago Old Plantation made Chili and packaged it up in bricks, it was pretty good. I wonder if they still do that under the new owner?

A bit far, but I'd go to Dan's Smokehouse before Old plantation. Dan's is just north outside of Weatherford, but they do all kinds of smoked meats, jerky or just plain cut, your choice

I hunt that area. I've tried the locals, but worth the drive to Cinnamon Creek in my opinion. Maybe more expensive, but worth the price to me.

That said, my main item is sausage and that's where Cinnamon Creek real fits my taste.

Their bacon wrapped filets are maybe the best I've ever tasted.

Never heard anything good about the processor off 380 south of Bridgeport. They guy kinda of rude. I'd take it to Sanger to hunters choice it's clean and the do a jam up job.

I had the same experience at Plantation. Won't go back.
