Anybody know any guides in any area of Texas that get on cinnamons regularly?
Or how far I’d have to look to get on em?
Serious question don’t make that face at me.

There have been a lot killed in West Texas this year it seems.

Best bet is try to save up and book a trip to Mexico. I shot one both times I went to Mazatlan and you get some really beautiful blue wing and shovelers too.

Best bet is try to save up and book a trip to Mexico. I shot one both times I went to Mazatlan and you get some really beautiful blue wing and shovelers too. Obviously there is plenty of better destinations for cinnamon teal but the OP's question was about Texas...

I've heard that a couple of the border lake (Texas Mexico) is good cinnamon teal hunting. Don't know if a guide runs down there or not.

Don't know if a guide runs down there or not. x2 The border lakes might be your best bet, but you also stand the highest chance of never being seen again. Might check with some of the bass fishing guides down there and see if they can point you in the right direction.

Further west the more probable Yup... I hunted ducks and pheasant in Mexico, just south of Yuma, AZ when I was younger. They were everywhere...like mosquitoes. Farther east you get the harder it’s gonna be. Pretty birds for sure
