Would you?  They left out the cayenne and the bouillon. I'm using turkey dark meat and a pint of oysters. It will take me maybe 30 minutes. .

 I'll use roux from a jar in a pinch, used it several times before. Turkey and oysters sound good.  I'm making another pot of gumbo Wednesday. Post up some pics Ox.

My chopping is all done. I had too much turkey. I froze some of it for chili. The directions on the roux says to put it in a little at a time. I don't do that I put it in the blender with some stock.

Cathy just called she's 20 minutes out. I just put the oysters in there. She'll add Tabasco. One thing the directions didn't warn about is boil overs. I've been down that road before. I don't know why but gumbo is more prone than other soups and stews. That's the recipe for me. This is all there is. No okra or file gumbo for me.  Here it is done.  It will look better plated
