Words cannot describe this yearly trip I make.. The amount of birds I saw this trip was ridiculous. Overall, hell of a hunt, cannot wait to get back! Needless to say birds will be down soon!

I hope so. Saw precious few this morning. We are seriously considering the drive to Oklahoma or Kansas next year. Maybe a lease. Guided, private or freelance?

No matter how high a duck flies a hammer still breaks a window.

First picture was public, we hunted the deer lease that bordeees the red river so the first day we hunted the red river and shot a limit of 10 gadwalls, a spoonie, and a ringer. Even though ten are shown in that picture.

Second Picture was private on the cattle tanks on the lease. We scouted those the night before and saw that most of the ponds were holding at minimum of 30 birds each... problem was trying to find one with enough vegetation to hide layout blinds..

Needless to say, If you can get on some cattle ponds on south Oklahoma you’ll be on the birds
