This deer and another were on my hit list this season and he was a regular visitor at the feeder. Not sure on his age but thought he was older and felt confident if I saw him I would shoot.

He decided to show up the last evening of my hunt and I watched him walk in. I hesitated at first because he was not as full bodied as I thought he should be. He didnt stay long so I shot as he started following a doe another buck was chasing. First buck I've taken from our lease in 4 years as I'm trying to leave the young deer alone. We have an abundance of those running around. He is a main frame 7 with a kicker on his G2, right at 18" wide. He will make a nice Euro either way.

Finally got to pull the trigger after dark on some vermin. Pigs were coming out of the pond when I saw them in the thermal. Got the lead sow but couldnt get follow up shots due to the brush. The coons were growling at me walking past the pond so I gave them a 2 for 1 shot deal. The coyote was super small but no longer a threat to the fawn population. Overall it was a great trip and the weather was nice. Need some rain in a bad way but 4 days in the woods felt great.
