Meet daisy I'm from the shoot every hog and coyote on site club. My son noticed this hog was always the first hog to the feeder every night and brought several of her friends with her. Even if some hogs went into the trap and were caught she would still come for some corn. We decided to give her a pass and shoot the other hogs. We killed two of her buddies sunday night and here she is wednesday night and she brought along some friends. I have a covert that sends pics to my cell phone. I'm out of town or I would be trying to earhole some hogs tonight. I know it sounds crazy but it is working for us.

Hey if she keeps bringing in friends for the slaughter so be it. Wonder how it will be when she has piglets and you shoot some of them

That's a Judas Hog.
Keep her around until she is no longer useful.

Yeah, keep her around if you can.
I had a 9 0'clock confidence sow. She was big and fat from sucking the corn out of the feral crack pipe every night. She would show up right at 9PM every night and spin the pig pipe for hours. The other pigs in area would stroll in and out as long as she was on the pipe.
We shot a lot of pigs that came in after she did but she didn't seem bothered and returned night after night, even after a bunch of other pigs bought the farm while she was there.
We took enough pigs out of a couple of visiting sounders until they got very wary and would only come in if she was there. One night after drawing a blank on the previous few nights, she came in and a friend took her out. The other pigs didn't come to the feeder for months. We could see them in the edge of the brush but they would not come in where we could get a good shot.
