I just bought a fiberglass canoe to use with the 4-H goose and duck hunts. The canoe will mainly be used in an irrigation pit at the sewer plant. The banks to the pit are steep and covered in large lava rock
The boat is light green on the out side and white on the inside. the green is faded and stained. I am not concerned about faded and stained paint but rather keeping the boat protected in this harsh environment.I am considering letting the kids do a cameo paint job using the Krylon camo paint Is this a good Idea? will the paint stick to the fiberglass.
Thank You Robert

I've never painted fiberglass before, but a lite sanding to rough it up a bit might help the paint adhere to the boat.
