I am selling a thoroughly worked Savage model 10 in .260 with a 5/8-24 threaded 22" Shilen select match barrel (8-twist, ratchet-style rifling) in Shilen's Savage Varmint contour. The barrel was installed using a Northland heavy duty recoil lug and squared/trued barrel nut. Total round count is 80 (one box of Remington 140 gr PSP, two boxes of Gorilla Ammo 123 gr SMK, one box of FGMM 142 gr SMK), and the only reason I am selling is because I bought a .260 barrel for another rifle. The action made a trip to Sharp Shooter Supply where the action was trued and timed, and the bolt got their "fishnet" fluting along with a bolt lift kit. I also had them install one of their Competition Triggers. Additionally, the bolt has a PTG bolt head, and an Xtreme Hardcore Gear knurled bolt handle installed. The barreled action is in a B&C Varmint/Tactical stock (part number 2997, tan with black webbing) that has been inletted for the Stockade AICS-compatible bottom metal, which is also installed (the rifle will come with one magazine). Also included is a (TPS) steel 0 MOA pic rail.
I am asking $1300 for the rifle and the factory (20" unthreaded 10-twist .308 Win) barrel. I am not looking for trades at this time, as I am selling this to finance another build.
Pics available upon request (PM me your email address); I am in the NE Dallas area (Garland, Richardson), and will drive a reasonable distance to meet a buyer.
