All week long we have a good amount of deer activity(1300+ cam pics over 12 days at one feeder), Some morning and evening day light feeding as well. At the start of bow season we would see a good amount of deer every time we would sit. Now its maybe one young deer. We have two young boys that stay at the cabin while we hunt and we have to run the generator for them. I am thinking that the generator sound alters the deer people are on site and they stay away .
We have got a decent doe and a 8 point this year while the generator was running but it was at the beginning of season. Does it seem as they have patterned us ? Planning to go out Saturday and sit without the generator going and see what happens . Weather is not going to be very great with highs in the 70's again.

May be the generator, may be just in general they are wary of blinds and feeders, see it every year later in the season.

Doubt it's the generator. More than likely hunting pressure. How many acres and how many stands? Doesn't take deer very long to alter their patterns if there's an consistent increase in human activity.

I watched a buck from about 600 yards away opening weekend. I was down wind in my blind and he was between me and our cabin. The buck topped a hill and looked dead at the cabin area for 21 straight minutes without moving (I only noticed the time as I glanced at my watch to take note when they were moving) He stood there that long just looking at the cabin. I'm sure he was looking for any activity to see if we were hunting that weekend
