Well, I have to brag a little, This is the second year we went to hunt with Western Kansas Pheasant Hunt, out of Montezuma, Kansas. To say its the best pheasant hunt I have ever been on is an understatement. I took three dogs this year, my up and coming superstar (Ch. Big Trouble Duke x Jodies Golden Ticket) had 16 finds, 10 Roosters were harvested. "better shooting and it would have been more"
then we have my old girl, (Nat Ch. Lesters Snow watch x Buches Elhew Cassie) hammering out 2 big coveys of quail and 2 Roosters, again "better shooting would have resulted in more"

Wild birds?

Bill, this is Not a preserve hunt, all wild birds!!!!! We hunted some of the thickest crp you would ever want to walk and crp corners of the big ag fields. Garret Love and family, farm several thousand acres and provide great bird habitat for the pheasant to thrive.

No scale buster we didn’t have a chance to hit the Texas Panhandle.

Pheasant hunting has become my favorite hunting. Just made it in from Northern Kansas last night and had a great hunt.
