Another hunt of unintended events. I had a landowner that wanted a sow and so I tried getting him a sow. I saw no sows. I saw no hogs. What I saw were coyotes. Apparently, he doesn't eat coyotes. Oh well.

It was a really nice night for thermal and I shot coyotes at 225 and 170 yards. I kept searching for hogs for a couple more hours, got cold, went to Whataburger.

Double Naught, I've seen lots of hogs at Whataburger, but I don't believe there's either a season or a bag limit on them. smirk

And, Lord knows, I wouldn't want to have to clean any of them. . .

It kind of drives me crazy that whata is one of the few 24hr operations available to us night hunters. I get some really weird looks when I get to my “local” whata only to return those weird lols at the people still there....

Had one lady worker one night really trying to stir up a conversation with me. I was friendly but she worked the night shift for a reason. Small town Texas in the middle of the night gets strange eek2

Anyway, good shooting, good video. Bummer you couldn’t supply a sow. That’s hunting tho cheers

Yes, it is called the Dr. Demento Shift for a reason, and we are part of that reason, too, LOL.
