Can't wait to try amigo.....cooking a pork roast smothered in onion gravy over rice, your chicken & jalapeno soup, and grilling up some boudin and chicken/jalapeno sausage for party tomorrow.

For my next batch I've been thinking about adding a table spoons or two of bacon grease to the broth and a 1/4 cup or so of chopped up bacon bits (real bacon) to the chicken when pre-cooking it. Then just prior to serving adding some chopped up chives to give it a little crunch and color..... Thoughts?

I'd skip the bacon grease and just add the bacon. Other than that sounds great.
