I've always had a soft spot for sporterized Mauser actions. At the Abilene gun show this weekend I found a really nice commercial Mauser action made by interarms chambered in 243win. Blueing is nice and deep and also has a beautiful stock. I walked away with it for $400. Came home and mounted a used Leupold 1x4x20 but I've yet to shoot it. Thinking it will make a good truck gun Anyone have any experiences with these?

I love them. I replace the side safety with an FN shroud and flag safety and shot the heck out of them.
You did what?

My dad built a lot of custom rifles back in the 1960`s into the 1970`s in Pasadena. Most were built with the K98 actions as a base. Those Mk 10`s would shoot for an off the rack rifle.

Ain't no flies on the Mark X. I don't know if they all came with tge same trigger, but I was able to adjust mine down to a very acceptable clean pull. I have that rifle with me out on tge lease right tbis minute.

I just got mine as a birthday present chambered in 30.06 with a gorgeous walnut stock. Got it for $200. Put a cheap Simmons on it and it is making quarter size groups and still going strong after multiple loads. Love it!
If you look back over your life are you fully satisfied you pleased the Maker of Creation. Are you fully assured that you have trusted in His Son, Jesus Christ, for your salvation. Are you confident that you have a definite hope of going to Heaven?
