What do you use for the bedding material for your rail to action? I heard some people use the j-b weld epoxy compound. Any thoughts?

It is interesting that guys will put on huge scope rings to hold enormous scopes with 6 or 8 screws each. And the whole massive contraption is held on the gun with 4 tiny screws.

Just for you, Snake Wrangler

Pay it forward - Kids are the future.

Rifles are similar to boats and young women...there's no end to how much money you can pour into them without making them any more useful.

There is only 1 way to know if you need to bed your rail or not, and that is to check if there is a gap between the action and base when only 1 side has screws in it. If there is a gap then bed your rail so you dont induce flex to the scope.
