Looking for a doe whitetail/doe axis/doe fallow etc... for late Dec or early Jan in the $250 range. I need to make some sausage. Anybody got anything along these lines?

be hard to find a good hunt for anything not in the freezer for that price, we have a couple of Spanish billies that would make good cabrito for economy hunters.

What part of Texas are you looking in? Doesn't matter. I have time off and a pickup so I can pretty much go wherever. I live in Athens (90 miles southeast of DFW) but am willing to drive for the right hunt.
