Got lucky and had my cousin invite me out hunting last minute! I had purchased a Remington 700 in 6.5 creedmoor and had been itching to get her broken in, so, I jumped at the opportunity.
Day 1 saw nothing Day 2 morning nothing Day 2 evening (last hunt before coming home) a doe showed up just a few minutes before having to call the hunt due to light.
Put one behind her shoulder and didn't take more than 50 yards before she was out... Needless to say the 6.5 did it's job and I was happy as all get out. First deer of the season!
I'd post pictures but not quite sure forum rules of graphic pictures. Only had battery for one picture before before my phone died.

That first kill makes any rifle all the more special.

Thanks guys it was one heck of a thing.
First time I mounted a scope myself so there was a lot of anticipation leading up to pulling the trigger (hope I mounted it right, got it torqued down. Hopefully it's all tight and didn't bounce loose)
Then it all came together

Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

Since I don't have a good picture of the deer I guess I can show off the new rifle

It is fairly simple. Get photo on your desk top. Then when in the text box on THF run your cursor across the icons until you see one that says upload image into post it is brown with a blue arrow. hit the browse button, find your photo, hit add photo, hit save and your done. I hope!! lol
