I've been at the ranch since Saturday. I've seen tons of deer, a lot of year and a half 8's. I passed on a young 10 on Sunday. I watched a giant of an 8 last night for 45 minutes. I also saw him right at dark the night before but light was all but gone when he came out. I probably would have shot him last night, but his right G2 was busted off at the main beam. I want to say he's 2 and a half, but I'm guessing he's 3. He's young anyway. Rut activity has been non existent. I've grunted, bleated, rattled, you name it, I've done it. They'll just look at me and keep moving. I haven't even seen a buck chase a doe. It's been weird. Any way, this guy stepped out and I couldn't resist the double split brow tines. I'm guessing he's 4 and a half, he weighed 175#. I don't think I've ever killed a deer that weighed that much here. Now I'm going to get serious on some pigs!!

The pic isn't showing up for me, it may not be uploading with my weak service here. I'll try later.

Looked at your pic. again and looks like a small fork on his right main and the start of one on the left. more antler there than at first meets the eye!
