Any ideas on age and score? My guess is 4yr old. He's not a real heavily massed buck, but a dead buck for sure if I get to see him in person. Seems he may have gone nocturnal on me.

He has a nice thick chest and shoulders I’d say 5 or a really healthy 4 yr old.

He looks mature to me probably 5-5.5 yrs. old. Beautiful rack with very good main beams, those G-2's look like sabers! 145"+.

Honestly I don't think he's pushing 5. His face says 5 or 6 but body does not. He could be on the mend from rutting.

Who cares that is one super impressive 8. What a gorgeous buck!! He is awesome!! I'm super picky and that deer would get me to draw my bow no doubt. I'm guessing low 140s but that mass might be hiding a few more inches then I'm guessing. I'd rather shoot him over a 160 10pt.

First pic is another nice shot of him striking a pose.
Second and third are on a different stand about 300 yds away from the first. These are the most recent pics I have of him. Sucks that they're at 2:30 am but at least there aren't any reports on the lease of anybody else shooting him or even seeing him, except for my bro-in-law. He saw him and was grabbing his gun and knocked over his binoculars and spooked him. Even better, he's blown his chance at this deer due to getting antsy and shooting a small buck.

I hunt Trinity co. He looks 4 but my gut says 5 and lost weight from the heavy November rutting activity this month. I think he will go a little over 140. If he makes it through the season you will have a monster 8 next year if he puts on some mass.

You know he likes corn so back track him and hand corn an area in more cover and hang a camera and see if he hits it during day light.

I'm not sure which way he's coming/going. In the close up pics, all I can see is if he's by the feeder. Guess I need to move that camera. In the night pics, he's heading into a huge clear cut area. I need to do a little field research to try and figure out where he likes to spend his time.

You can’t age a deer by a photo. Best you can do is tell if it is a yearling, young, or mature.

That buck is mature. And he is plenty nice.

Mature and a heck of a beautiful 8!

Good luck, I think with those beams and tines he will score well.
