What's the timing on when the hunt can take place and is archery an option?

The timing is anytime a person wants to hunt him. As for archery. If a person and their equipment is proficient and comfortable at shooting at 50 yds. plus then I guess archery is an option. A few years ago I had a couple of gentlemen out to hunt two Mouflon. They wanted to use bows. After half a day they decided if they wanted to score on a Mouflon they woulfd need to use rifles instead. Not trying to be a smart a** just stating that he is not a tame animal that a person can get up to within 15 yards of and shoot.

These rams have the best eye sight of almost any animals I have ever hunted and are amazingly elusive. Taking one with a bow would be quite an accomplishment.
I'd bring my rifle.
gorgeous animal Don k

Amazing animal. I watched a guy hunt some mouflon with his bow for 4 days. He hunted hard too. A great hunter and great bow hunter. He ended up taking one with his 270. Those baby's are elusive!
