I've read on here before of spraying urethane or something to protect the paint on decoys but cant exactly remember what it was. any help guys.

I'd use clear plasti Dip.

Last time I coated my decoys it effed them all up. Made them all shiny even with a flat clear coat. Didn't seem like the ducks liked it very much. I'd rather have a few scratches.

You are over thinking it some paint nocked off the decoys doesn't hurt anything

thats what i used last time, just couldnt remember what it was. used it on a couple of dozen a few yrs ago. one looked great, one looked terrible, i rarely use that dozen anymore. was curious of yall's take on spraying them, thanks for the input
