Put a Bushnell Elite Tactical 6-24x50 on my 6.5 Creedmore.

I'd like to ask for a set of flip up caps for it for Christmas. What do you guys recommend? I'm only really finding Butler Creek caps on search and I haven't heard the best things about them.

Tenebrex or the newer vortex defender

Tenebrax is well made, but I prefer Aadmount after using both.

Butler Creek ruined a great product.

Have not tried the Vortex covers.

What is wrong with Butler Creek? I've used them for a long time with no complaints and they're stupid cheap, especially compared to other options.

^^Right there

I've broken more than I can remember. Waste of money. Buy good, tough caps once, and it's over. Butler Creeks break the plastic, and the hinge pin comes out for no reason.

I’ve been very impressed with the Aadmount caps that I’ve got. They’re pricey but well worth it in my opinion.

I have a set of the Vortex on a Vortex scope and they work pretty good. Only issue I have is the eyepiece cover seems to move some like the rubber portion is just a hair too loose. Doesnt really impact them, I just need to push it all the way on every once in a while.

I've broken a handful of Butler Creeks, but I'll keep on using them because they're inexpensive and do the job they're intended to do.

My factory caps that came with my razor did that but the newer defender ones are leaps and bounds better quality.
